Cost – £415.00 pp

Duration – 2 day

Location – Dartmouth, South Devon.

The Experience – This is a physical course – you will be tested.

The training area occupies an extensive wooded estate upstream from the town of Dartmouth.  During the 2 days, our instructors will explain and demonstrate a comprehensive program taking the core aspects of Royal Marine training on the water and on the land.  You will learn these and be tested.

This course will show you how to operate with the minimum amount of equipment, basically what you can carry on your back while remaining mobile and flexible to adjust to changing conditions and circumstances.

THE TRAINING PHASE – you will be shown techniques on how to navigate from RV to RV, overcome natural obstacles such as water features including river crossing and coast lines, land features such as cliff faces, steep ground and gorges, survival techniques including shelter building, finding food and water and of course personal admin, meaning how to look after yourself.  This phase of training will be personally and continuously supervised by ourselves.

Both at an individual level and as an operational team, you will be assessed and progressed.

THE FINAL EX – Once across the Departure Line, the final exercise will start.  This is now up to you as an individual and as a team member. This phase will be continuously observed and supervised as required.  .

END-EX – Time to chill out-it is over.  We will give you our evaluation of your performance firstly as an individual, then as a team member and finally as a team.  Your feedback is of vital importance.  Our aim is that you leave us standing taller in the world because you have earned it.
